Before becoming a lawyer, Mark doubled his own and a roommate's $1,000 security deposit in Wisconsin small claims court. 

     Now Mark defends other renters' rights in Illinois and Chicago.  Mark wrote chapter 9, "The Chicago Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance," of the Chicago Bar Association's "A Young Lawyer's Guide to Real Estate Practice."  Tenants and landlords can see examples of our cases.
